MEYER, William Augustus, 90, of Hillsboro and formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday November 8, 2020 in Montgomery, OH. Born November 24, 1929 in Lebanon, OH to William and Mary (nee: Lyons) Meyer, he was a 1947 graduate of Lebanon High School. Bill worked as an inspector for many years before retiring from General Electric. A longtime member of the St Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon, he had been attending St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hillsboro since he had moved there in 2002. An avid Bengals and football fan, he loved to tinker with antique machinery. Preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Edward Meyer and his four sisters, Rose Mary Meyer, Mary Rawers, Betty Buffenbarger, and Patricia Ann Kinney. He is survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation, Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 9-10 AM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10:30 AM at the St Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon. Father Bernard Weldishofer presiding. Interment follows in Lebanon Cemetery.
