William Joseph Mapes, 82, of Lebanon, OH, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Atrium Medical Center.  Born on July 4, 1940 to William Howard and Florence Rachel (nee: Brown) Mapes.  William attended the Ohio State University for some time and served in the United States Air Force.  He was a delivery driver for Papa Johns for nearly 20 years and attended the Countryside Church of the Nazarene.  He loved and cherished his kids and grandkids.

Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Steve Mapes, he is survived by one son, Andrew Charles Mapes, three daughters, Shellie (Rendell) Harris, DeeDee Schebor, Ineke (Daniel) Carmichael, and seven grandchildren, Justin, Darrin, Ryan. Robby, Connor, Adri, and Sean.

Memorial service on July 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Countryside Church of the Nazarene
