LEWIS, William (Bill) Kenneth, 97, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Otterbein Lebanon Senior Life Community. Born July 8, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH to William and Kathryn (nee: McWhorter) Lewis, he was a proud US Navy Veteran. William worked for Proctor and Gamble for many years as a chemist and was a member of the team that invented Liquid Tide.  Following "retirement" Bill earned a seminary degree and pastored Holtsinger Memorial Church for many years.  A published author, he always enjoyed writing short stories, memoirs, poetry, and completed two novels.  Always giving back to the community, Bill served in many capacities including on Sharonville City Council.  He was also a Scoutmaster in Boy Scouts of America for several decades earning him the Silver Beaver, Scoutings highest honor for adult volunteers.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jean (nee: Patterson) Lewis, and his sister, Shirley Jenkins. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Jean (Bradley) Barnes of Bloomington, IL, his son, Bradley Andrew (Katrina) Lewis of Fuquay Varina, NC,  his grandchildren, Abigail Grace (Mitchell) Wallin, Ethan William (Macey) Barnes, Clayton Fielding (Kelly) Lewis, Kelsey Jean (Kolin) McKelvey, Dustin Fielding Lewis, his great-grandchildren, Isla, Brooks, Brady William, and Hallie Jean and two half brothers, Thomas(Candy) Lewis and Robert (Lois) Lewis.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2 PM in the multi purpose room at Otterbein Lebanon, 585 N St Rt 741, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.. Arrangements by the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
