William Howard

William “Bill” Howard, 77, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at The Christ Hospital.

Born on June 13, 1948, in Morrow, Ohio, to Beecher and Martha (née Charles) Howard. Bill lived a life rich in love, curiosity, and connection. He was an avid gardener who found joy and peace in nurturing the beauty around him, and a passionate world traveler whose adventures reflected his appreciation for people, cultures, and experiences.

Bill was a devoted member of David’s United Church of Christ in Kettering, where he found community, faith, and lasting friendships. He will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, generous spirit, and the genuine way he made others feel welcomed and valued. His love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings, and his beloved dogs—Addie, Buddy, Betty, Wicked, George, Daniel, Greta, and Schultz—who brought him endless joy and companionship. Bill is survived by his loving husband, Kevin Craig; his sister, Margaret (Bernie) Uchtman; his nieces, Theresa Wauligman, Rebecca Luncan Grim, and Melanie Cole; and his cherished Delta family, with whom he shared deep and lasting friendships.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at David’s United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Road, Dayton, Ohio 45429. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Hospice of Cincinnati.
