DUNN, William C. "Willie", 96, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Traditions of Deerfield. Born on July 27, 1924 to Carleton and Mabel (nee: St. John) Dunn in Lebanon, OH, Willie was a US Army veteran, and retired accountant from Dunn and Taylor Accounting where he retired after nearly 60 years. He was a member of the Bethany United Church of Christ, a former member of the Honey Bee Squares for 25 years and the Lebanon Kiwanis where he served as Treasurer for many years and was recently honored for being a Lebanon Kiwanian for over 70 years. He volunteered with the Lebanon Food Pantry and Interfaith Hospitality and was a longtime treasurer of Harmon Golf Club and Bethany Church. Willie played the guitar, banjo, autoharp and harmonica. He was known for calling friends and family to play happy birthday on harmonica.

Preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jean Dunn, his daughter-in-law, Georgia Dunn, one brother, Chester "Chet" Dunn and one sister, Doris Anthony.

He is survived by his three sons, Wayne Dunn of Lebanon, Daryl (Margie) Dunn of Lebanon, Gary (Christie) Dunn of Springboro, his daughter, Darlene (Robert) McLain, one brother, Richard (Gloria) Dunn of Centerville, six grandchildren, Rob (Patsy) McLain, Michelle (Kevin) Burns, Ross (Tricia) McLain, Andy (Lauren) Dunn, Lindsay Dunn and Keegan (Tracy) Dunn and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 PM all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Bethany United Church of Christ or the Lebanon Food Pantry.
