William R. Clowers

William Ray Clowers, 89, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Bickford of Middletown. Born on January 12, 1937 to William H. and Beatrice (nee: Taylor) Clowers in Lexington, KY, Bill was a member of the Lebanon Community Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, golf, playing cards and watching football.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jo Ann (nee: Leaf) Clowers, his daughter, Barbara Lynn Clowers, his brother, Jack Clowers and three sisters, Betty Brandenburg, Peg Hauck and Jayne Kemper.

He is survived by his daughter Diana (John) Johnston, two grandchildren, Laura (Brook) Musselman and Johnny Johnston, four great-grandchildren, Silas John, Annalie Claire, Milo Harvey and Caleb Rainn Musselman, his nieces, Karen Bretz, Pam West, Hannah Leaf and Jackie Mira and his nephews, Michael Hauck, Doug (Jody) Leaf, Brian Leaf, Tom Clowers and Dean Clowers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Middletown. The family is forever grateful for their excellent care for Dad.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM in Lebanon Cemetery.
