Wayne August Achtermann 1938 - 2023, age 85, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was born to Ralph and Donna Achtermann (Beach) in Morrow, Ohio. He was Married to the late Jeweldine Achtermann (Davidson). He leaves behind his two daughters Terresa D. Bauman (Keith) of Milford Ohio, Shelly D. Blanton (Kevin) of Morrow Ohio; his five grandchildren Christopher Bauman (Andrea), Nick Blanton (Laura), Brennan Bauman, Morgan Caudill (Joe), Bryce Blanton (Kelly); his brother, Adrian Achtermann of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; his sister, Norma Achtermann of Columbus, OH, and 14 great-grandchildren.    He was passionate about his work in the school system at Kings, Goshen, Loveland, Green Hills, and Milford serving various roles including a teacher and coach. However, he was absolute in his focus on the importance of family and his faith serving as a deacon for 23 years. He was an avid woodworker that enjoyed spending time on his property. He cared deeply for his family, friends, and students. Wayne served the community with pride  and selflessly helped those in need. He was the last class president of Morrow High School in 1956 where he met his wife of 52 years, a lifetime member of the Masons, and tremendously proud of his roots in the community. Wayne was a man that lived by principle and deeply invested in ensuring the well-being of all those around him.
