Walter Lee Cobb passed away suddenly at his home in Maineville, Ohio the evening of May 24, 2023. Walt was born on February 8, 1949 in Corbin, Kentucky. He was pre-deceased by his parents Wanda Colleen (Gentry) Cobb and Virgil Lee Cobb, his only sibling Michael Cobb, and his first wife, Judy Ann (Smith) Cobb. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (Sams) Cobb, his daughter Lesley L. Cobb Reed (Denny) and grandchildren, Luke Davis, Kelsey Davis and Caleb Davis. Walt was retired from working many years as a senior software engineer and also taught mathematics at the Little Miami High School for eight years after graduating college. Walt was happiest boating and teaching folks to water ski. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and devoted friend to many. The visitation and funeral will be at Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, 513 W. Pike St., Morrow, Ohio 45152 on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The burial service will be private.
