Wade Matlock

MATLOCK, Wade, 93, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026. Born August 24, 1933, in Barbourville, Kentucky, to Sinthia Matlock, Delmor worked for CM Paula Company for many years as a printer.

Wade was a devoted husband and family man with a deep faith in God that he handed down to his family. He was married to his wife, Florence (nee: Gatliff) Matlock, for almost 70 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Matlock; and brothers, Rob, Roy, and Dale Matlock, Wade is survived by his wife, Florence; son, Larry Matlock; daughters, Sheila (Donald “Moon”) Mullins and Vickie (Randy Kennedy) Matlock; grandchildren, Christy Harris, Amanda Schwier, Heather Stevens, Ryan Monhollen, Danny Matlock, Kurtis Matlock, and Kelly Monhollen; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10 AM until 12 noon at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon, followed by a funeral service. Pastor Rick Woodson will be officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
