Vestal Arlene (nee: Womack) Hipp, 89, of Cincinnati, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in Cincinnati.  Born on January 24, 1935 to William and Altha (nee: Linderman) Womack in Ward, AR.  Vestal graduated from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, AR.  She was one of the original teachers at the Lebanon United Methodist Preschool and was an administrator that established the childcare program at the Dayton YMCA.  Vestal was also a board member of the Warren County Rape and Abuse Crisis Center.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Altha, husband, Tom M. Hipp, two sons, Michael (Charity) Hipp, Bob Hipp, and brother, William Womack.  She is survived by her brother Willard Womack, daughter Mary (Mel) Hensey, and son David (Tammy) Hipp, grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Campbell, Adam (Kathy) Hipp, Rachel (Kevin) Carroll, Katherine (Adam) Ramey, John Hensey (Hannah DiPenti), and Bethany (Collin) Mocas, and great grandchildren, Tom and Will Hipp, Dylan and Charley Campbell, Gus Ramey, Jacob and Joshua Carroll, and Anya Mocas.

Visitation, Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 3PM-5PM at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, 329 E. Mulberry St., Lebanon, OH, with a service following the next day, Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11AM, at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, Lebanon.  Reverend Jaqueline Matisse to officiate.  Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Patrick's Episcopal Church,  232 E. Main St., Lebanon, OH  45036.
