Cooke, Thomas Gerald, born April 13, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Tom graduated from Lebanon High School in 1966 and went on to Sinclair Community College to earn his associates degree in business.   He served 6 years in the U.S. Army National Guard and was honorably discharged from service in February, 1973.  During his youth Tom worked for his fathers farm implements business, Cooke's Inc., an International Harvester dealership.  From there he followed his passion for sales and worked in the power equipment business for over 25 years.  His biggest passion was golf, he was an avid and competitive player.  He was a member of Harmon Golf Club and had his first club membership at the young age of 10.   Tom worked seasonally at Shaker Run Golf Course through the end of the 2024 season.
Tom was a 56-year lifetime member of the Lebanon Elks Lodge where he served as Exalted Ruler from 1983-1984 and was inducted into the Hall of Honor on April 15, 2000.
Preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary Cooke, and his grandson Seth Gerald Hagood.  Tom leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Deborah (Dressler) Cooke, children Amy Cooke, Julie (Terry) Fornshell, and Randy (Lani) Cooke his grandchildren, Jennifer Poff, Brooke (Sam) Lewis, Hunter (Danielle) Fornshell, Camryn Cooke and Avery Cooke as well as four great grandchildren with another blessing on the way.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 26th from 2:00 - 4:00pm with an Elks service at 4:00, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home.    There will be a celebration  of life immediately following at the Lebanon Elks Lodge.  All visitors are welcome to attend.
