SMITH, Theodore Frank, 84, of Blanchester, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born October 27, 1941 in Lebanon, OH to Theodore and Elsie (nee: Jeffery) Smith, he was a 1961 graduate of Lebanon High School. A member of the Pleasant Grove Community Church in Clarksville, he spent his career with several companies before retiring in 2008 from Sumco.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margie (nee: Spurling) Smith of Blanchester, his son, Kevin Smith of Fayetteville, his daughter, Kim (Doug Grove) LaFon of Blanchester, his granddaughter, Alexis (Josh) Ritchey and his great grandchildren, Everett and Abram Ritchey.

Visitation, Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 10 Am until 11 AM with funeral service immediately following, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow. Reverend Calvin Martin officiating. Interment follows in Fellowship Cemetery in Union Township. Memorials are requested to the American Alzheimer's Association.
