RUSSELL, Susan Ann (nee: Franz), 89, of Lebanon, OH, passed away at Optimized Senior Living on Saturday, June 24, 2023.  Born on October 25, 1933 to Ann Murial (nee: Blandford) Franz in Dayton, OH, Susan was a 1951 graduate of Lebanon High School, later becoming the first woman in Ohio to work as a driver's license examiner.  She also worked for Warren County Developmental Disabilities, worked as a bus driver for several educational entities, and also worked as a courier for LCNB for many years.  Susan was a lifetime member of St. Francis De Sales Church, a member of the YMCA, and involved in a card club.  She was very active in sports including volleyball and softball. Susan was loved and cherished by many and will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by her mother, Ann, her brothers Charles Robert Franz and George R. Franz, she is survived by her daughter, Cynthia A. Loesch of Lebanon, OH, son, Eric (Jennifer) Bryan Russell of Bend, OR, brother, Steve (Gwen) Franz of Centerville, OH, grandchildren, Derek R. (Sasha) Loesch, Nicholas K. (Bailey) Loesch, and Bryan G. Russell, great-grandchildren, Jameson, Cassidy, Bentley, Lincoln, Tucker, and Henry, as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family

Visitation, Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 9 AM- 10:30 AM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.  Funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. Francis De Sales Church, Lebanon.  Father Robert Farrell to officiate.  Interment will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Jude or St. Francis De Sales Church, Lebanon.
