Obituary

Sue Ann Touchett (nee: Milleson) born September 1,1935 in West Bend, WI to Walter and Opal (nee: Baumgartner) Milleson of Fond-du-lac, WI, died peacefully on August 24, 2021, at the age of 85 at The Landing of Long Cove in Mason, OH.  Sue was an elementary school teacher most of her adult life.  A calling she considered a privilege rather than a job.

Sue married Gerald "Jerry" Eugene Touchett on August 27, 1955, at St. Patrick ' s Catholic Church in Fond-du-lac, WI.  They lived in their hometown of Fond-du-lac off and on while both attended college at Miami University in Oxford, OH.

Sue and Jerry celebrated forty-four years of marriage before Jerry ' s death in 1999.  They had four children, Rebecca Touchett (Barry Kane) of Santa Fe, NM, Thomas Touchett (deceased), Melissa Amburgy (Ted) of Milford, OH and Laura Smith (Ron) of Venice, FL, ten grandchildren, Josh Amburgy, Rachael Reif, Jesse Slusher (Eric), Jake Amburgy (Jessica), Ian Kane (Kristen), Jordan Porto (Izzy), Ben Jackson (Samantha), Emily Kane (Trey Dohring), Nolan Jackson (Jayna Brunetti-Jackson) and Austen Smith (Susan), as well as twelve great grandchildren.  Landen, Lucy, Charlotte, Estelle, Jordan, Remington, Savannah, Hadley, Knox, Luna, Gavin, and Letty.

Sue taught forty years as a special education teacher, retiring in 2005.  Twenty-six of those years at Lebanon City Schools.  She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry and their son Tom.  She is survived by her sister Barbara Roll of Nampa, ID.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home at 329 E Mulberry St, Lebanon, OH.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Resurrection Lutheran Church at 1270 N. Broadway, Lebanon, OH. Following the service the family will be holding a luncheon to celebrate Sue's life at 9951 Walnutridge Ct. Cincinnati, OH 45242.

Sue will be buried at Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at E. Morning Star Hwy, Astoria, IL.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Alzheimer ' s Association.
