Steven Kent Fairchild, 71, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Bethesda North Hospital.  Born on December 17, 1950 to Ray and Alice (nee: Enghauser) Fairchild in Middletown, OH.  A 1969 graduate of Lebanon High School, Steven worked for General Motors for 33 years before retiring in 2007. Steve's greatest enjoyment was his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and helping his grandchildren with their 4-H animals.

Preceded in death by his parents, sister Krista Swain, brother Danny Fairchild, mother- in-law Alta Vanderpool & brother-in-law Ronnie Vanderpool. He is survived by his wife Regina (nee: Vanderpool) Fairchild of 52 years, two sons Kevin (Michelle) Fairchild of Liberty Township, and Dusty (Tammy) Fairchild of Eldorado, OH, one daughter Shannon (Randy) Elbert of Waynesville, OH, father in law Hayes Vanderpool of Lebanon, OH, two sister in laws Angie (John) Wilson of Lebanon and Sherry Vanderpool of Middletown, two brother- in-laws Mike Vanderpool of Lebanon, OH and Ed Swain of Franklin, OH, sixteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Private services are to be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to American Heart Association.
