NIEHAUS, JR., Stanley Joseph, 80, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Hospice of Butler Warren Counties. Born on October 3, 1940 to Stanley J. and Mary Alice (nee: Feuertein) Niehaus in Cincinnati, OH, Stan was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army and retired from Gibson Greeting Cards where he worked as a machinist. He trained and rode horses for over 30 years and enjoyed camping, fishing and bowling. He and his wife, Gail enjoyed going dancing and listening to country western music.
Preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Shannon Lee Lobe and two sisters, Mary Jo Kramer and Kathleen Niehaus.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gail (nee: Wehmeier) Niehaus, one son, Michael (Darcy) Niehaus of Lebanon, one step-son, Brian (Denise) Brelitch, one son-in-law, Mike Lobe, six grandchildren, Victoria Howard, Kemper Brelitch, Zachary Niehaus, Joseph Niehaus, Chase Stewart and Gavin Brelitch and one great-grandchild, Gregory Howard.
Visitation, Friday, April 30, 2021 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM with a funeral service at 4:00 PM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. A private family committal will take place in the Dayton National Cemetery with Military Honors. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.hoskinsfh.com .
