Shea Shepherd

SHEPHERD, Shea Trent, 51, of South Lebanon OH, passed away on Thursday, July 16th, 2026, 7:07pm at UC West Chester with his partner in crime and daughter holding both hands. Born July 28th 1974 in Dayton, OH to Steve and Zona Gayle (nee: Mason) Shepherd, our beloved Shea Shepherd has fought many battles and won every single one. This battle was fought hard, but God knew it was his time to return to his forever home. Without hurt and pain he can finally be where he always belonged the outdoors with his gun in one hand and his fishing rod in the other. He was the kind of man that would help everyone even if that meant giving you the shirt on his back. He can now forever fish with his brother and father in the most beautiful place in the world. While Shea did have his struggles, nothing mattered more to him than the family he created and the family he took in as his own. He never once knew a stranger and could talk to you about anything and everything. Everyone has flaws but regardless it’s how you try to make a difference, how you reflect on life itself and one thing we all can say was Shea was always full of himself and that's what made him into the amazing man he is and was.

Forever lives his deer jerky legacy!

Preceded in death by his father Steve Shepherd, his brother, Rex Shepherd, and his sister, Serena Shepherd. He is survived by his mother, Zona Gayle Shepherd, his partner in crime Jane Shepherd-Daniel, his two sons, Shea (Jalynn) Shepherd II and Sabin Shepherd, and his daughter, Jasmine Shepherd, his granddaughter, Briella Rose and one handsome grandson on the way with many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Pastor Allen Stinson officiating. Interment follows in Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon. Memorials may be made to the Go Fund Me page to help with funeral expenses. In honor of Shea and his love for the outdoors, the family is requesting camouflage attire on Tuesday.
