Ruth (Berger) Lewis passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Traditions of Deerfield in Loveland, Ohio. She was born on September 20, 1928 to Joe and Julia (Fuerst) Berger, on Zoar Road in Morrow, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Lewis, and her brothers, Carl, Joe, and Dale Berger.

She is survived by her brother, Harold (Brenda) Berger, her two daughters, Pamela (Gregory )Morris, and Julee (Lewis) Riesenbeck, and her son, Dennis (Patricia) Lewis; 10 grandchildren Denny ( Danielle) Lewis, NIck Lewis, Michael Lewis, Madeline Lewis, and Mallory Lewis, Ryan (Erin) Morris, Megan (Paul) Clayton, Brenden, Devon, and Rylyn Riesenbeck; 5 great grandchildren, Scarlett, Savannah , and Violet Morris and Paul and Claire Clayton.

In addition to working many years for Rocknoll Nursery and later,  Belwood Country Club, she also worked for the Little Miami School District---first as an teacher's aid and later, 25 years as the school secretary at Morrow Elementary.

She was a member of a Mother's Club in Morrow, a Brownie Leader, 4-H Leader, and a lifelong parishioner of St.Philp's Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and playing cards with her friends. Her family was most important to her and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her visitation will be held on Monday, June 21, from 10:00-11:00 in the narthex at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Morrow.  A mass will immediately follow and then the burial directly afterwards at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Father Bernard Weldishofer presiding. After the burial, a luncheon will be served in the undercroft at St.Philip's Church. Arrangements by the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Memorial donations are requested to either the Morrow Life Squad or to the Deerfield Township Life Squad.
