Russell Sunnycalb, 78, of Mason, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at his residence. Born on December 29, 1943 to Charles and Ersella (nee: Fordyce) Sunnycalb, Russell was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a sports enthusiast.

Preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ronnie Sunnycalb, Donnie Sunnycalb and Willard "Barney" Sunnycalb and one sister, Barbara Dunn.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Leona (nee: Johnson) Sunnycalb, two daughters, Amy Nicole Collins of Mason, Amanda Jo (Adam) Stephens of Franklin, two brothers, Bob Sunnycalb of Lebanon and Jim (Mae) Sunnycalb of South Lebanon, five grandchildren, Cody Sunnycalb, Austin Gaddis, McKinlee Collins, Cole Stephens and Kendal Stephens and two great-grandchildren, Bralynn Collins and Stetson Collins.
