Rose Marie Plunkett (nee Ohrling), aged 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Born on November 18, 1942, in Eskilstuna, Sweden, she was the beloved daughter of Holger and Gudrin (nee Zetterberg) Ohrling. Rose dedicated many years of her life to her career as a dental assistant, working both in Sweden and the United States before retiring in 2007.

Rose was a cherished member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church and actively participated in the 741 Seniors Club. Her passion for helping others was evident through her volunteer work with Matthew 25 ministries and her involvement with the local genealogy group.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Anna Helton, and son-in-law, Danny Helton, of Oregonia, her adored granddaughter, Dana Helton, and her dear brother, Robert Ohrling, and sister-in-law, Eeva-Liisa Ohrling. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Holger and Gudrin Ohrling.

A memorial service to honor Rose's life will be held at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 11 AM. Arrangements are being handled by the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow.
