GARRASTEGUI, Rosaura, 85, of Morrow and formerly of Puerto Rico, passed away on Thursday January 27, 2022 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Morrow. Born October 8, 1936 in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico to Rafael Garrastegui and Victoria Del Rosario, she had spent her career teaching in the Puerto Rico Public and Private School Systems.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfonso Negron and her daughter, Damaris Negron, she is survived by her two sons, Martin Negron of Morrow, OH and Carlos Negron of Orlando, FL, her brother, Sigfrido Garrastegui of Long Island, NY, her two sisters, Eva Garrastegui of Carolina, PR and Zenaida Garrastegui of San Juan, PR, and her six grandchildren, Marlene, Martin, Marvin, Yamary, Nathalia and Victoria.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 2 pm until 4 pm at the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home. Services will be held at a later date in Puerto Rico. Arrangements by the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
