Ronald Keith Reed, loving husband, father, and Pawpaw, went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 67 on Friday, May 26, 2023. He passed peacefully at his home in Lebanon, Ohio surrounded by loved ones.

Born on May 29, 1955 to Clovy and Barbara (Thurston) Reed in Dallas, Texas, Ron was an only child and enjoyed his youth with cousins and extended family. A paint contractor by trade, he lived in Texas, New Jersey, and California before he moved to Ohio. In 1979, he was blessed with a son, Jason. In 1996, he married the love of his life, Beth. Through this marriage, he gained a daughter, Christine.

Ron enjoyed spending time outdoors where he would fish, smoke meats, and garden. An avid movie buff and lover of books, he was continually entertaining and learning. Most of all, he loved and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father. Those that will cherish his memory include his mother, Barbara, his wife, Beth, his son, Jason (Janelle) Reed, his daughter, Christine (Eli) Cassis, and six grandchildren, Thurston, Sullivan, and Morgan Reed, and Elizabeth, Catherine, and Alexander Cassis.

A graveside service is to be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at The Lebanon Cemetery, section K, pastor Doug Sibcy to officiate.  In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of Dayton.
