Obituary

KUNTZ, Ronald R., 86 of Lebanon passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the Hospice of Cincinnati. Born in Lebanon on February 27, 1938 to Oakley and Ruth (nee: Collins) Kuntz, he was a Road Maintenance Supervisor for Turtlecreek Township before his retirement in 1998. A 1957 graduate of Lebanon High School, he was a three sport letterman in Football, Baseball and Basketball. Ron then served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963 and was stationed in Ft Story, VA. Ron was one of the many soldiers on call during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was also a lifelong member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, his son, Charles Ray Kuntz, his brothers, Homer and Butch Kuntz and his sister, Jo Anne Hogan. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ginny (nee: Cropper) Kuntz, his daughters, Kim (Doug) Tepe, Kris (David) Marr and Kara Kuntz, his son, Steve Kuntz, his brother, Francis (Linda) Kuntz, his four grandchildren, Tyler (Lindsey) Tepe, Karissa (Zach) Brand, Mary Marr and Anna Marr and his great grandchildren, Quinn, Grayson, Beckett, Hannah and Adam.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10th at 11 AM at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends after the service during the luncheon at the church. Pastor Jeff Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the  Warren County Foundation, c/o Onward Lebanon- In memory of Ron Kuntz, P.O. Box 495, Lebanon, OH, 45036.
