Obituary

JULIEN, Roger Frederick, 68, of Morrow passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Born November 11, 1955 in Wilmington, OH to Stanley and Edna (nee: Logsdon) Julien, he was a 1974 graduate of Little Miami High School.  Roger had worked as the Sexton for Morrow Cemetery for several years and had recently been employed with ODOT. He loved his motorcycles. He also loved his cats and his dogs. He was a genuine caring individual. He was also musically talented.  Having played the drums from the time he was a kid, Roger had been the longtime drummer for Thunderhead. Anyone who has spent any time living in Warren County is familiar with his band.


Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother,  Edna Julien, his brother, Marvin (Donna) Julien, his son, Jeremy (Theresa) Mitchell, his grandson, Wesley (Asia) Mitchell, his great grandson, Everett Mitchell,  his niece,  Jennifer (Fred) Carmack and her kids, Cooper and Zeke, and his nephews, Derek (Charlene) Julien and his daughter, Hannah and Jon (Amy) Julien and his daughter, Isabelle.


A memorial reception will take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow.  In lieu of flowers,  donations are requested to the Little Miami Band Program.
