Robert Edwin Grunenwald, 81, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Otterbein in Lebanon. Bob was a proud United States Navy veteran. He carried great pride in his military service and the values it instilled in him throughout his life.

Bob shared a lifelong love of travel with his wife, and together they explored 49 states while traveling the country in their RV. Those journeys created countless memories and reflected Bob's curiosity, sense of adventure, and joy in experiencing new places side by side with the love of his life.

A true people person, Bob was very social and treasured time spent with his friends and family. He was happiest surrounded by good company, laughter, and conversation. He also enjoyed watching car racing and football, passions that brought him excitement and camaraderie over the years.

In his younger days, Bob loved golfing, a pastime that combined his appreciation for the outdoors with friendly competition.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharleen Grunenwald, his son, Robert Grunenwald and one sister, Susan Finney. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Kornaker of Morrow, one brother, Jack Grunenwald, one sister, Joyce Abrigg, two grandchildren, Paige (Blake) Steiger and Tristan Kornaker and one great-grandchild, Raven Steiger.

Visitation, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project.
