NICHOLS, Richard Lee, 77, of West Union, OH passed away on Saturday December 12, 2020 at UC Medical Center. Born March 20, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to James and Avonell (nee: Ward) Nichols, he was a supervisor for Avon Products for 32 years before retiring in 1997. Richard was a member of the Mason Masonic Lodge and the Shriner's and attended the Southern Baptist Church in West Union. Preceded in death by his parents and his step son, Timothy Lyons, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Wilma (nee: Gregory) Nichols of West Union, two sons, Jeffery (Pam) Nichols of Naples, FL and Marty Nichols of West Union, OH, his step son, Steve (Angela) Lyons of Lebanon, his two sisters, Janet Green of  Cummings, Georgia and Diana (Joe)  D'Avells of Taccoa, Georgia, his grandchildren, Dalton Nichols, Kylo Nichols, Scott Lyons, Amanda Burden, Jared Lyons, Elijah Lyons, and Jacob Lyons, and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 10 AM until 11 AM with a funeral service immediately following at 11 AM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Reverend Heath Husky officiating. Interment follows in Lebanon Cemetery.
