THOMPSON, Pearl (nee: Daugherty), 88, of Lebanon passed away on Monday December 21, 2020 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home in Waynesville. Born December 12, 1932 in Mount Vernon, KY to Boston and Lena (nee: McCormick) Daugherty, she was a 1950 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. Pearl was a practical woman who enjoyed reading and doing taxes. She was a bookkeeper for over 30 years for Willie Dunn CPA. A member of the Red Hat Society, the Northside Baptist Church, she was also active in the Over 50 Club. Preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, John Avery Burris, her second husband, Jack Thompson, her sisters, Pauline, Mary and Ruby and a granddaughter, Rachel Stowe. She is survived by her two sons, Scott (Jacqueline) Burris of Lebanon and Mark (Ronda Cox) Burris of Oregonia, her step daughter, Stacy (Ron) Patton of Piqua, her brother, Charles (Hetty) Daugherty, her sister, Ruth Allen, grandchildren, Jeremy and Adam (Kari) Burris and her great grandchildren, Avery Stowe and Blake Burris. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at the Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials requested to the Make a Wish Foundation. Arrangements by the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
