Patricia Lee (nee: McGarity) Van Harlingen, 91, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her residence in Lebanon. Born on March 28, 1931 to Carl and Naomi (nee: Stiebritz) McGarity in Columbus, OH, Patricia had a good head for business and managed her husband's medical practice, enjoyed developing real estate and volunteered at various organizations such as Harmon Museum ( textile curator for 20 years), and Lebanon Community Services. When her children were in school she served as President of the PTA and was a Camp Fire Girls leader.
She and her husband were also members of the Lebanon United Methodist Church. She was always willing to help anyone in need.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. George Van Harlingen, Sr., and one brother and sister.

She is survived by her son, George Van Harlingen (Debora) of Lebanon, two daughters, Victoria Van Harlingen and Christine Van Harlingen, both of Lebanon, two grandchildren, Nathan Roberts and Lydia (Matt) Moeller and two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Caroline Moeller.

Visitation, Monday, August 1, 2022 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM with a service on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to either the Warren County Historical Society, 105 S. Broadway, Lebanon, OH 45036 or to the Warren County Humane Association, 230 Cook Road, Lebanon, OH 45036.
