Ota Mae (née: West) Wyatt passed away at Otterbein, Lebanon on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Ota was born on Christmas Day in 1937 in Barbourville, KY to Minnie Brent "Brenda" West. A gift to us all, she spread light and love to family, friends, and strangers alike. Throughout her professional life, Ota held multiple administrative roles and prided herself on completing several college courses, a first in her family. But raising her three daughters was undoubtedly the accomplishment she held most dear. The pride she exuded for her children, and later her grandchildren, was endless. She shined as a grandmother and never missed an opportunity to shower them with love and admiration. Ota was loved and cherished by many and will be truly missed.

Preceded in death by her mother Brenda Mastandrea, stepfather James Mastandrea, brother Andrew West, and sisters Jarie Wilburn and Joanne Garrett, she is survived by her three daughters Joy Mattingly of Nicholasville, KY, Melody (Dave) Fields of Hamilton, OH, and Carrie McDanald of Nicholasville, KY, her brother in law Steve Wilburn, nine grandchildren Megan, Matthew, Jacob, Jayne, Kyle, Tory, Kristen, Mallory, Wyatt, and five great grandchildren Gannicus, Harry, Simon, William, and Anna.

Visitation, Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 1PM-2PM with a memorial service following at 2PM all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
