Opal Mae (nee: Singleton) Honaker, 91, of Waynesville, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her home. Born on April 4, 1932 to Chester and Joann (nee: Adams)  Singleton in Rockcastle County, KY.

Preceded in death by her husband, James Honaker, five brothers, Homer, Richard, Ossie, Roy and Edward Singleton, three sisters, Lissie McNew, Rosie Lakes and Odella Boshers, and one grandson, Adam Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Jim (Tammy) Honaker, two daughters, Marsha Cox and Karen Johnson, her adopted daughter, Erma Poff, one sister, Cleta Frederick, grandchildren, Trevor Gasaway, Jeremy Gasaway, Jacob Johnson, Ryan Cornett, Danielle Cox, Stephanie Joann Gale and James Paul Honaker, great grandchildren, Tyler, Haile, Ashley, Jaden, Allison and Kristin Cornett, Sammy Gale, Emilia Gale, Liam Honaker, Corrine Ray, Aiden Gasaway, Gracie Gasaway, Gavin Gasaway, Willow Denny, Rose Johnson, Emma Johnson, Lucy and Lucas Fugate.

Visitation, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 11:00 PM-1:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
