Norene Bryant

Ruth Norene (Teen) Bryant of Lebanon, Ohio passed away on July 27th at the age of 100. She was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois on August 8, 1925 to Ralph and Edna Kent but lived in Mishawaka, Indiana during her childhood. Norene married the love of her life, Paul E. Bryant and served as a United Methodist pastor’s wife in several churches in the West Ohio Conference. Norene worked as an executive secretary at Nationwide Insurance and retired in 1988.

Norene loved the Lord and her greatest joy was being a devoted wife, mother and granny to her family. Paul passed away in May 1996 and she lived her remaining years close to children in both Westerville, Ohio and finally in Lebanon, Ohio. She is survived by her four children Nancy (James) Ludwick of Lebanon, Ohio, Johnny (Joyce) Bryant of Columbia, Tennessee, Susan (Timothy) Allen of Lebanon, Ohio and Jenny (Galen) Stover of Westerville, Ohio including twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of faith in Christ and was an unwavering prayer warrior for her family. We will miss her greatly but are comforted to know she is home with the Lord. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakstone Academy or Samaritan’s Purse.

Visitation, Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM with a service immediately following, at 3:00 PM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment will follow on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, OH.
