SHUE, Nancy Jean (nee: Trimble), 72, of Lebanon finished her race and entered into the loving arms of Christ on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. Born February 3, 1952 in Akron, OH to Jay and Lucille (nee: Brown) Trimble.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of 49 years, Mark Shue of Lebanon, her three daughters, Amy (Mike) of Hamilton, OH, Sarah of Minneapolis MN and Connie (Nathan) of Kingsley, MI, one sister, Karen of Monroe, NC, her brother, Paul (Teresa) of Mooresville, NC, her nephew, Kevin and her four grandchildren, Kaitlin, Eric, Colt, and Logan.

Nancy graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in education. She was a passionate and creative educator. She retired from teaching at Cincinnati Christian School in 2023. Nancy was a long time member of Center Pointe Christian Church. She loved a good road trip, feeding the birds, collecting piggy banks, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known for her generous heart and adventurous spirit.

A special thanks to the outstanding nurses at Crossroads- Brianna, Dylan and Joy, and the rest of the team, you allowed us to give mom the end of life care we all wanted, and allowed it to be on her terms, as was the Nancy Shue way.

Visitation, Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 6-8 PM with funeral service on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11 AM, all at the Oswald Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Pastor Shawn Spradling and Pastor Grace Pardun Alworth officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
