YOUNG, Myra Jo (nee: Scott), 74, a lifetime Lebanon resident passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Born in Lebanon to Floyd and Minel (nee: McGill) Scott, she attended Lebanon High School. She was active with the Bethel AME Church Usher Board and Missionary. She was a founding member of the Lazy Dames social club and volunteered over the years with the Lebanon School District in various capacities and was an active volunteer with the Lebanon Food Pantry. She was a volunteer and friend of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church "Play School" program.

Myra was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, David, Roger, Herschel SR, and Fred SR Scott and her sisters, Jean Scott, Geneva Phillips, and Judy Dews. She is survived by her husband Booker Terry Young, SR of Lebanon, her son, Booker Terry (Heidi) Young, JR of Hassloch, Germany, her two daughters, Tanya Young and Dava Young of Lebanon, her brothers, Floyd Scott JR, and Don Scott, her sister, Lucille Smith, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 5-6 PM with a funeral service following at 6 PM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Reverend Karen Schaeffer officiating. Inurnment will be on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11 AM at the Lebanon Cemetery.
