Michael Lee Goodpaster, 68, of Loveland, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, in Rodanthe, NC.  Born on September 22, 1953, to Frank and Margaret Ella (nee: Lackey) Goodpaster in Lebanon, Ohio.  Michael was a 1972 graduate of Lebanon High School.  Michael attended Miami University where he obtained a bachelor's degree, and spent 30 years as a school teacher for Kings local schools before retiring in 2015. Michael enjoyed to fly and skydive.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda (nee: Sanders) Goodpaster, sons Royce (Katie) Goodpaster of Maineville, Joshua (Kristin) Goodpaster of Bluffton, SC, Mathew Keefe of Florida, Shiloh (Jenny) Goodpaster of Delhi, and Jake Goodpaster of Loveland, step-son Shannon (Fran) Ream of Colerain, daughter, Ky Goodpaster of Loveland, sister Diane (Mel) Jenkins of Lebanon, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 10AM-12PM, with a service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Michael J. Fox Parkinson's foundation, P.O. Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014.
