Mary Viola (nee: Stafford) Simonds, 79, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Hospice of Cincinnati. Born on April 30, 1945 to Hubert and Frankie (nee: Cummings) Stafford, she worked in childcare for many years. She loved being around children, her cats and dogs, playing Skip-o and was very family oriented.

Preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Norman Cummings and one sister, Lois Payne. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Simonds, Sr., her daughter, Kim (Ray) Berry of Lebanon, one brother, Marvin (Pepper) Stafford of North Carolina, and her two grandsons, Kody Carroll and Kolby Miller.

Visitation, Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
