Mary Lou (nee: Metz) Phillips, 88, of Maineville, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Otterbein Maineville surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 1, 1936 to Raymond and Ethel (nee: Tilton) Metz in Hamilton, OH. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Phillips, two sons, Todd Phillips and Jeff Phillips and two brothers, Vernon Metz and Raymond Metz.

She is survived by her son, Chris Phillips of Maineville, one brother, Bob Metz, one sister, Peggy Metz, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mary Lou devoted her life to Christ, embodying His teachings and spreading His love. Through her work at Little Miami Schools, her nurturing care for her children, and her warm treatment of strangers as family, Mary Lou lived by the principle of loving one's neighbor. She dedicated her life to serving her Lord, reflecting His virtues of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness. Mary Lou's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the profound impact of living a life filled with grace and compassion.

Visitation, Friday, December 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM with a funeral service on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Interment will follow in Morrow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Otterbein Maineville designated to the "Quality of Life Fund", 201 Marge Schott Way, Maineville, OH 45039.
