Mary L. (Siemer) Allgeier, 86, died Monday, June 3, 2024 at her home of 61 years in Morrow.  Born in Cheviot, OH, tenth of thirteen children, she learned to be patient and selfless. She married Henry Allgeier in 1963 and with him raised eight children, who sometimes put her patience to the test.   She worked for many years for Federated/Macy's as a front desk receptionist, greeting co-workers and visitors with warmth and  sincerity.  As a grandmother, she was a loving and giving example to all 17 of her grandchildren.  Besides her family, she loved her Reds and Bengals, lunches with her extended family, her church group and her friends.  She was generous to many charities and to people she saw who needed help, and she was quick to remind her children that there were many people worse off than we were.  She loved travel while she still could, trips to the casino, and big family celebrations.

She is survived by her children, David (Beth Maybee), Vincent, Amy Gallagher, Marcia Pflum (Greg), Patrick (Peg), Tracy (Michelle Koyama), Donald and Joseph (Courtney), as well as by her sisters Romilda, Judith and Mary Helen and her brother Dan, her seventeen grandchildren and nieces and nephews too numerous to count.

Visitation will be at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, in Morrow from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Thursday June 6, 2024.    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Friday, June 7 at St Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, in Morrow followed by interment next to Hank, who preceded her in death in 2016,  in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Montgomery Road in Cincinnati.  In lieu of flowers, please make an extra donation to the charity of your choice in Mary's name.
