Martha Juanita Elizabeth Young Scearce, aged 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Aurora, Indiana, on October 5, 2024. Born on May 31, 1943, in Sardinia, Ohio, Juanita was the third oldest of seven children of John William and Mary Alice (Faul) Young.

Juanita is survived by her loving husband, Buddy Gene Scearce, and her children: Cindy Scearce Bickley (Dan) of Delaware, Ohio, Tammy Fain Heminger (Wayne) of Morrow, Ohio, Tracey Scearce Young (Jeff) of South Lebanon, Ohio, Timothy Fain (Kim) of Sparta, Kentucky, and Alex Scearce (Nancy) of Maineville, Ohio. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Alice, her brother Randy Young, and her sister Debbie Peters.

Juanita dedicated many years of her life working as an Engine Mechanic for General Electric. She was an active member of the Aurora Moose and the Aurora American Legion. Juanita had a passion for traveling, boating, playing poker, and cherished spending time with her family.

Services to honor Juanita's life will be held at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, 513 W. Pike Street, Morrow, Ohio 45152, on October 12, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A celebration of her life will follow at the Morrow VFW Post 8202, 120 Highlawn Avenue, Morrow, Ohio 45152, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend.
