Marian "Kathy" Hudgel-Helsinger, 72, of Miamisburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Sycamore Hospital. Born on April 22, 1953 to Thomas and Kathryn (nee: Brazier) Hudgel in Dayton, OH, Kathy was a proud veteran of the US Navy. She worked as a registered nurse for many years and she was a member of St. Francis de Sales church. One of her hobbies was collecting dolls and the Nightmare Before Christmas memorabilia.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dave Helsinger, one son, Dwayne Hudgel-Schaeffer one brother, Thomas Leroy Hudgel, Jr and one sister, Tina Rutherford.

She is survived by her son, Bryce Hudgel, her adopted daughter, Amber Fields, her sister, Annie (Barry) Dunn, her grandchildren, Jayden Byrge, Chyanne Butler and Shawn King, one great-granddaughter, Melody Byrge, niece and nephews, Amy Neville, Ben Rutherford and Jake Rutherford and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home. Mass will immediately follow, at 11:00 AM, at St. Francis de Sales Church, Lebanon. Father Brice Berger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Epilepsy Foundation.
