Margie Sue (nee: Amburgy) Johnson, 83, of  Lebanon,  passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Arlington Pointe in Middletown. Born on September 18, 1939 to Cuba Lee and Effie (nee: Spencer) Amburgy in Lerose, KY.

Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Russell, Virgil, Willard and Earl Amburgy and three sisters, Jean Souther, Ona Shaw and Eula Dare.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Roger Johnson,  three daughters, Michele (Dr. Eric) Holley of Lebanon, Angela (Reverend Lindsey) Smith of Vero Beach, FL, Melonie (Reverend Robert) Metz of Lebanon, one brother, Bob Amburgy, three sisters, Ina Taylor, Linda Grooms and Rose Bailey, 11 grandchildren, Erika James, Joshua Holley, Roger Smith, Beau Smith, Abrianna Smith, Bethany Philipp, Ashton Metz, Colton Metz, Cody Metz, Brandon Metz and Sarah Metz and eight great-grandchildren, Sky Holley, Ocean Holley, Judah Philipp, Ezra Philipp, Warren Smith, Sutton Smith, Layden Johnson and Liyonah Johnson.

Visitation, Friday, December 23, 2022 from 12 PM until 2 PM with a funeral service immediately following, all at the Kings Point Church of God in Maineville. Interment will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 10 AM at the Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements by the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
