CARLO, Louis Edward, 87, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born on December 23, 1933 to Edward and Margaret (nee: Furey) Carlo in Buffalo, NY. He was a veteran of the Army and graduated from Michigan State with a degree in economics. Lou was the owner and operator of Standardbred Racetracks. A member of St. Francis de Sales Church and the Mathers Mill Club, Lou was known for his love and generosity for everyone. He loved spending time with his family, watching sports, and was an avid horse racing fan. He loved spending the winter in his vacation home with his wife, Linda, at Briny Breezes in Florida.

Preceded in death by his parents, his mentor and uncle John J. Carlo, and siblings James and Joan Carlo, Claire and Joseph Deck, Mary Ann and Steve Joyce, John and Susie Carlo. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda (nee: Mains) Carlo, four sons, John (Shay) Carlo of Lebanon, Edward Carlo of Northville, MI, Michael Carlo of Northville, MI, Joseph (Victoria) Carlo of South Lebanon, two daughters, Mary (John) Beck of Valencia, CA and Helen Carlo of Lebanon, grandchildren, Emma (Evan) Rogers, Timothy Beck, A.J. (Brittany) Carlo, Amanda (Vic) Wyrick, Emily Carlo, Ann and Claire Brattain, Dominic, Olivia and Penelope Carlo, three great-grandchildren, Gianni, Julian and Grayson and his many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. A Mass will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Father Bernard Weldishofer officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
