HOBBS, Loretta (nee: King), 88, of Morrow, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at her home. Born August 11, 1936 in Irvine, KY to Willie and Emily (nee: Reece) King, she was a dedicated wife and mother. She had worked for several years as a cook at both the YMCA Daycare and Little Miami School District and was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship, formerly the Church of God of Prophecy.

Preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Angela Collins, her sister, Juanita Morris, her brothers, Troy, Snowden, Miles, Sammie and Lloyd King and her granddaughter, Angel Abrams. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hobbs, her sons, Randy (Wilma) Bowles and Samuel (Hillary) Hobbs, her daughters, Lavonne Abrams, Juanita (Tracy) Jones, and Teresa (Jim) Barnett, her brother, Paul King, her grandchildren, Katina Combs, Destiny Abrams, Laura Headings, Chris Bowles, Karen Millikin, Corrinne Jones, Hannah Akbari, Lindsey Jones, James Barnett, Daniel Barnett, April Barnett, Abigail Hobbs, Nathan Hobbs and Johnathan Hobbs, 12 great -grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.

Visitation, Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2 to 3:00 PM, with funeral service immediately following at 3:00 PM, all at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow. Interment will be on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM, at the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
