BUCHANAN, Lois Ilene (nee: Boyd), 94, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on January 9, 1926 to Edgar and Grace Erma (nee: Rutledge) Boyd in Carrollton, OH, Lois was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, playing cards and reading.

Preceded in death by her husband, John S. Buchanan, one son, John L.  Buchanan, one daughter, Mary Ellen Gomez, two sisters, Helen Shepherd and Maxine Brooks, one grandson, Brett Campbell and two sons-in-law, Ronald Campbell and Richard Gomez, she is survived by one son, Larry (Char) Buchanan of Lebanon, one daughter, Nancy Campbell of Lebanon, one daughter-in-law, Joanne Buchanan, six grandchildren, Gary (Anita) Campbell, Ronald Campbell, Jr., Matthew (Rachel) Buchanan, David (Shannon) Buchanan, Angie Guilfoyle and Lindsay Buchanan, 8 great-grandchildren, Christine Baker, Bethany (AJ) Schappacher, Crighton Buchanan, Paisley Buchanan, Peyton Guilfoyle, Cara Guilfoyle, Hayley Buchanan and Logan Buchanan and two great-great grandchildren, Madyson Baker and Reagan Schappacher.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private service will be held for the family only. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
