LYNCH, Linda Lee (nee: Shewmaker), 82, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Hillspring Nursing Home in Springboro. Born October 16, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, to Robert and Margaret (nee: Lamore) Shewmaker, Linda worked as a horse trader with Triple L Stables for many years.

A 1961 graduate of Dixie High School, Linda was a longtime 4-H advisor and dedicated much of her life to her love of horses. For many years, she rode her horse at Lebanon High School home football games and area parades. She was also a member of the Barrel Racers Association of America and a longtime member of the New Vienna Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Woodford Lynch; two sons, Jeffery Tim Lynch and Robert Leon Lynch; and her grandson, Timothy Wayne Saylor, Linda is survived by her two sons, Richard Allen (Donna) Lynch and Woody Lee (Linda) Lynch; two daughters, Jessie Lyn Fisher and her step-sons, Christopher Fisher and Anthony Fisher, and Peggy Arms; grandchildren, Justin (Amanda) Perry, Amanda Buchanan, Heather Lynch, Hannah Saylor, PJ Fisher, Haley Mersch, Charles Jeffery Arms, Elijah Lynch, Nathan Lynch, Melissa Lynch, Seaerra Lynch & Dylan White; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, with funeral services immediately following, all at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
