Kilburn, Lester Rolin 85, of Morrow, Ohio passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at his residence. Born January 21, 1935, to Roy and Martella (nee Gibson) Kilburn. He was a graduate Morrow High School class of 1953. Proud US Army Veteran, who attended FBI academy in 1974, worked for several police departments in Warren County. He worked for Lebanon City Police going all through the ranks to become Chief of Police for several years. He also served South Lebanon as their police chief and helped start the police academy in Montgomery County. A member of First Baptist Church in South Lebanon. He was also a member of the Morrow Masonic Lodge 265 and a life time member of the American Legion.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilyn (nee Adams) Kilburn, two infant twins Marilyn and Sharylon Kilburn, brothers Russell, Wayne, Charlie, John, Jack and Dick Kilburn, and his daughter in law Marcie Kilburn. Survivors include his two sons Jim Kilburn of Morrow and Paul Kilburn of Morrow, special family member Kim Ackerman, five grandchildren, Laura Powers, Bub Kilburn, Brandy Kilburn, Kyle Kilburn and Garrett Ackerman and six great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at First Baptist Church in South Lebanon at the convenience of the family.
Rev. Dave Frasure will be officiating. Interment follows in Morrow Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorials requested to go to the First Baptist Church in South Lebanon. Arrangements by Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
