EVERITT, Lee Burton, 74, of Lebanon, passed away following a six month battle with lung cancer on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at his son's home in Oregonia, surrounded by family and friends. Born on August 21, 1946 to Paul and Vera (nee: Smith) Everitt in Kings Mills, OH. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Lee was an Air Reconnaissance photographer during his two tours in Vietnam. He worked as a plumber following his service in the Air Force, eventually having his own business. Lee was also an extremely talented keyboard player, performing in his later years with the groups Lee and Friends, the Tim Goshorn Band and, Bam and the Troublemakers. Lee also loved riding his motorcycle and playing pool. He was even good enough to play in a tournament against the legendary Minnesota Fats and won in a best two of three rounds match. Lee Everitt leaves a legacy of being an artistic man with a big heart who could be counted on to protect those who he loved.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his four children, Chad (Julie) Everitt of Oregonia, Tara Everitt of Mason, Christopher (Branda) Everitt of Hunter, Curt Everitt of Columbus; one sister, Paula (Tom) Miller of Lebanon; Kay Everitt, mother of his children; and ten grandchildren, Brayden and Rylan Everitt, Devon, Olivia, Owen, Zachary, and Colby Amburgy; Ashton, Waylon and Braxton Everitt.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM with a memorial service at 2:00 PM, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
