Larry "Red Dog" Johnson, 74, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Kettering Hospital. Born on October 1, 1947 to Paul and Edna (nee: Johnson) Johnson in Pineville, KY. Larry, known as "Red Dog" to many, was a US Army veteran and was so full of life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his Harley Davidson and driving his Corvette. It was not uncommon for Red Dog to spend a day sitting in his tree stand with his nephew Justin Johnson. He was most proud of his two grandsons, Aaron and Brandon. He raised Aaron as his own. As for Brandon, he was never more proud than when he decided to enlist in the Marine Corps.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna Johnson, one infant son, Larry Elijah Johnson and one brother, Harvey Johnson. He is survived by his two daughters, Laura (Tim) Sambor of Mason and Larin Johnson of Lebanon, one brother, Paul Douglas Johnson and two grandsons, Aaron Johnson,  Brandon Creech, great granddaughter Josie Edna Johnson his little Angel and nieces and nephews, Kirk, Amy, Josh, Jackie and Justin Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 Noon, at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon.  Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery, South Lebanon.
