Kayla Nicole (nee: Hulsether) Hargett, 29, of Goshen, OH, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Born on March 24, 1994 to Allen Hulsether and Kathryn Svoboda in Cincinnati, OH. Kayla was a 2013 graduate of Lebanon High School, later receiving her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cincinnati. Kayla was a beautiful, compassionate young woman who tried to make everyone she met feel welcomed and important. Her loss leaves a large void in her immediate and extended family that will be felt for a very long time.
Preceded in death by her father and grandfathers Nick and Richard, and grandmother Patricia and Uncle John Adkins. She is survived by her husband of four years, Ethan Hargett, daughter, Vivienne Hargett, grandmother, Anne Svoboda, mother, Kathryn Svoboda and her husband Sean, and two brothers, Geoffrey (Bizzy) Hulsether and Nicholas Holland. In-laws, Laurie and Norbert Warner and Joseph and Kathie Hargett. Ethan's grandmother, Rita Hargett. Sister-in-laws, Michelle (Marty) Hayse, Brittany (Will) Baker, and Lucy Hargett. Sarah (Brandon) Schwer, and Brother-in-law, Matthew (Moe) Werner. Maternal aunt Amy Adkins, Maternal uncle Matthew (Jeanine). Several aunts and uncles through her marriage to Ethan, Chris (John) Bain, Donna (Mark) Bravard, Steve (DECD) (Linda) Montgomery, Diane (Jude) Groeschen, Julie (Jim) Hicks, Deborah (David) Ross, Tim Montgomery, Harold Montgomery Jr., Monica (Mike) Meier, Myra (Rich) McElheney, Jerry (Cathy) Hargett, Arin (Bobbie) Hargett, Allison (Bob) Kohlman. And numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation, Friday, February 16, 2024 from 10 AM-11AM, with a memorial service following at 11 AM, all at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Good Samaritan Hospital NICU.
