Kathryn Louise Giffin, 80, of Morrow, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at her residence. Born on July 4, 1944 to Dewey and Naomi (nee: Mowery) Forrest in Marion, OH. Kathryn was a devoted wife of 61 years and an extraordinary mother. She enjoyed quilting and was a talented artist. She loved animals, was very adventurous and loved to travel. She loved to serve others by making them things such as crafts, jewelry and cooking for them. She loved bluegrass festivals, concerts and many types of music. She loved the Lord and had a heart of gold that touched everyone she met.

Preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronnie Forrest.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Giffin, her children, Todd (Kim) Giffin of Morrow and Chris (Michael) Smith of Glasgow, KY, six grandchildren, Matthew Dillon, Skylar Smith, Savannah Giffin, Makinley Giffin, Whitney (Jared) Wilson and TJ (Alycia) Adams and great-grandchildren, Annmarie and James Wilson, Kaiden and Kinley Dillon and Tyson and Jayce Adams.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 4:00 at Maineville United Methodist Church, 60 E. Foster Maineville Road, Maineville, OH 45039. Arrangements made by the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow.
