Baxter, Kathleen Ann (nee: Marquitz), 77, of Morrow passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Hospice of Cincinnati.  Born on March 2, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH to Thomas and Thelma (nee:Foster) Marquitz.  Kathleen was retired from Advanced Testing Labs where she had worked as a microbiologist. She was previously employed by Hilltop Research and Dubois Chemical. She had been a Girl Scout troop leader, 4H volunteer, and was the Director of Religious Education at Holy Name Church in Blanchester, OH.  She was honored in 2022 with the honorary title of Fellow from the ASTM International Committee E35 for which she had previously served as Chairperson.

Preceded in death by an infant son, Richard P Baxter, JR and her parents. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard Baxter, her son, James (Tamara) Baxter of Raleigh, NC, her daughters, Elizabeth (Tim Broughton) Baxter of Kettering, OH and Stephanie (Shawn) Black of Morrow, OH and her grandchildren, Thomas Black, Robert Black, Victoria Baxter, Adrean Baxter and Genevieve Baxter.

Visitation,  Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 5 until 8 PM at the Vale Hoskins Funeral Home in Morrow.  Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11 AM, at St Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church. Father Robert Farrell presiding. Interment will follow in Edwardsville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,  memorials are requested to a charity of your choice.
